I ask because a gentlemen asked if id sell rainbow vacuums for him. I have never done such a thing and figured id ask. He said if I did 10 demos and got 80 referrals (which seems like an awfully lot) a week that id make $300 regardless and I'd get $300 in commission per sale and if i didn't sell anything they wouldn't deduct outta my check what i should have sold. $300 sounds crappy for commission considering they sell them for $2200 bucks and i see them on eBay for hundreds less. I haven't much to loose but gas and time. should i go for it. I figured people that have sold stuff like this could answer. Example Kirby or Cutco salesmen.
Is selling vacuums (low pressure sales) a good thing to get into?
