In the Bible it states that Satan and his supporters (1/3) of the angels were cast out of Heaven. This gives God's forces a 2 to 1 advantage. Assuming God's power is equal to Satan (on an entity to entity level) is God's supposed dominance over Satan merely a numbers game.
Is the casting out of Satan really the suppression of Satan suggesting a new way to go about things (similar to how the early Americans rebelled against the unfair and bullying English in 1776) that is a natural progression of development and change?
Could God be hindering human kind by being completely inflexible and not allowing free speech, and demanding total obedience in heaven and earth.
Could Satan actually be the "Good Guy" threatening the establishment in the same way that Jesus threatened the power of the pharisees in his day?
Think long and hard about this...even ask a priest/minister/rabbi/etc. I think you will stump them.
