Is rideing a bike for 30min. a day a good workout?

Yes, very good. Keep up the good work!

Some people will tell you that you need to balance out your cardio with weight bearing exercise and in ideal circumstances with a motivated individual this is correct however not all of us have that time or self-discipline to do things we just don't want to do. I say, if you're getting out there riding your bike everyday and you're enjoying it you should keep it up. I think it's great!
