Is Queer as Folk similar to The L Word and which is better: the American or...

American is better! Hotter guys, lasted longer, no accent for me! :]

The L Word is INCREDIBLE. Like, prepare to be addicted. A lot of the characters are compared such as Brian and Shane. They're both have that bad boy appeal, or in Shane's case, girl I suppose ;]. Neither of them believe in love but believe in the power of sex. Eventually we see the soft side to both of these characters.

The lesbian couple in QAF whose names are escaping me right now remind me so much of Bette and Tina from The L Word. It's great.

I'm obsessed with both shows. Watch them!

Queer as Folk, orignated in Britain, and the series was good, the American version, is actually Canadian, filmed in Toronto. It followed the same charactors, storyline, but was better because the series went on much longer.
