I've been told a few times that psychology is not a challenging enough major if I want to do pre-med? My plan is to go to medical school and do a residency in psychiatry, so I thought psychology would be a good choice, but maybe not? The other issue is that with the psych requirements, my minor, and pre-med requirements, it's going to take me at least a ninth semester to finish. Will this be looked down upon by medical schools?
The only other major I would really consider to be in my interest would be human biology, which I think would be much more suited for pre-med. Is it worth the switch?
haha, yeah, I'm a very good student, so the As isn't a concern. My minor is spanish though, would Human biology look significantly better for me?
