Is Prolactin related to B12?

My prolactin level last week was 8628. It should 500 or under. Apparently over 5000 suggests a macro tumour. I am also on B12 injections for life and have been for 5 years. My thyroid is normal. Does anyone know if B12 is lnked to prolactin?

Thanks

Prolactin is a hormone secreted by the pituitary gland in your brain and it controls lactation. and excess of prolactin often is a sign of a tumor in the pituitary.

Usually people who take Vit. B12 shots do so because they can't absorb it from their gut as most do or you need more of it than usual. It has nothing to do with a pituitary tumor.
