My husband was begged to donate a metal sculpture to be shown in a local park. Someone from the town painted it a hideous yellow.
I find this to be insulting to him as an artist. Divinci would roll over in his grave if someone added a mustache to Mona Lisa's face.
I feel that he should have been asked if they wanted to make a change. Some people in the town think that he should repossess the piece.
