For the last couple of years I have had a lot of digestive problems. It all started when I had to have my gallbladder removed. After I had my gallbladder out I began having extreme stomache cramping and diarrhea. I couldn't eat anything w/ out having to run to the bathroom. I went to the doctor and after a blood test I was told I had h-pylori. I began taking all of the antibiotics for that and went back to the doctor to see if it was gone. They then did the breath test and found that I still had it. I again did the antibiotics and when I went in the third time they did an endoscopy and biopsy and found I still had it. I again did the antibiotics and finally killed it. During this time they also had me go and get tested for gastroparesis which turns out I had this as well. I still was having tummy problems and then one night I experienced the worst stomach cramps ever!! My stomach was killing so bad it could make me blackout! I would go to the bathroom and only blood would come out. I was very scared to say the least! I went to the ER got some antibiotics ended up having my doctor do a colonoscopy. During the colonoscopy the doctor found several ulcers and inflammation. All of the signs and symptoms pointed to inflammatory bowel disease but to be sure he also did a blood test. The blood tests results showed an 8% chance of having it. I still have the same problems. Everything appears to show that I have inflammatory bowel disease but the blood work. Is the blood work always right? I am so confused!
