Is online school better for my child than me teaching her?

ok my daughter wants to go to an online high school so she can earn her high school diploma.I agree with her but i was wondering would that effect her.I mean her doing all of her school work over the internet on the computer instead of me teaching her with textbooks?I just want to know am i doing right by letting her learn over the internet
