I am using footnotes to reference all my quotes.
But for one paragraph i want a footnote that gives a little bit of extra information that is revelant but doesn't sound right in the flow of the essay. Can i put (see footnote) at this particular FN, to direct readers to it. Is this ok in an academic essay?
Also when you are writing say, the title of a theatre performane, e.g. Warhorse, do you put it in inverted commas or italics to show it is a title?
Thanks in advance grammar buffs!
