...weeks, then two weeks off? I have heard from people that President Obama is going to pass a new school system where the students go to school for six weeks, then they have two weeks off, and there is no summer. I would like to know if this is the truth, and please answer the question if you know, not if your guessing! Thanks!!
 
The school system calendar is not dictated by the national government, but by the local government. This means that the state in which you live, not Obama, creates the school calendar and basic agenda. A federal mandate on local education would be like unto socialism.
