As a sports fan, I can barely watch NBA basketball.
It's just not a sport in my opinion.
I watched the Lakers game - approx 2 minutes of gametime.
I had to switch channels.
It was about half way through the fourth qtr.
3 wrong calls went the Lakers way in 2 minutes of gametime.
a. A Thunder player was called out of bounds for stepping on the line after grabbing a Laker rebound. I watched it three times and the Thunder player DID NOT TOUCH THE LINE.
b. An airball was lofted by Lamar Odom and went directly out of bounds (Lamar was trying for an alley-oop was poor attempt). A Thunder player jumped at the ball but did not touch it before it landed out of bounds. Ref blew the whistle and called it Laker ball. I checked my DVR 3 times and the ball was not touched so it should have been Thunder ball.
c. By the time I got to writing this question I forgot what the third event was, sorry. But I know it was a wrong call by the refs.
My point is, how can I have an ounce of repsect for the Lakers if in a tight game at home the refs put the game in a pretty pink picnic basket and say "Take this win, it's yours. It's been decided before you even take the court."
Basketball is a joke. I'd rather watch professional wrestling much better acting.
If you think I'm a Thunder fan, I'm not and can't name any of the players (Durant - that's about it). I just wanted to watch a good game.
