I read the engraved, but faded letters on the old building I stood in front of. The bricks used to build the large building were faded red and the door was big and heavy looking. I walked to the front door and hesitated for a minute but pulled on the door handle to reveal a large room filled with the smell of different perfumes and cookies. I notice four older woman sitting in random places while they wait for their names to be called. I walked to the front desk where a younger girl took my name. I smiled and thanked her taking my seat next to the wall. I dressed in my finest which was a white blouse with pearls sewn along the neckline and a black denim skirt with black flats. My brown stringy hair was pulled into a loose bun and I applied little makeup, but enough to be presentable. Soon I was the only one left in the large room. I took time to observe the room, it was covered in pink flowered wallpaper with pictures of the founder hung above the check in counter. The tile was white and was simple and boring. I was distracted so much that I jumped when my name was called.
"Miss. Kohnson?" A plump older lady called my name opening the door. I stood up brushing my skirt off before heading following her into a room with a desk and a small chair for her client to sit in. She motioned for me to sit before taking her own seat.
"Well Miss. Kohnson your resume is not very long" She noted lowering her glasses to look me in the eyes.
"When your eighteen you don't have much to say" I smiled gently and she smiled back.
"Yes well I suppose your right" She proceeded to look through it despite the recent comment. "You seem like a down to earth girl"
"Well, I guess you can say that" I replied trying to really think why she would want to know that.
"Do you know who Zane Kilto is?" She questioned.
"I think I have heard the name before, but it does not ring a bell" I blushed hoping I answered it as correctly as possible.
"That is great news!" She sounded more cheerful by the moment. "You are hired!"
"Excuse me?" I must have really looked confused because she laughed.
"You are exactly what he is looking for" She held a picture of a gorgeous man who held two small children on his lap smiling.
"Meet Zane Kilto, famous rock star and your new boss" She gave me a wink before having me sign papers.
"You need to sign this paper as a promise to not talk to any press or tell anyone you know who you are working for" She held a paper in front of me and I took the pen and signed my name on the dotted line.
