Is my Viper Car Alarm draining the battery in my Honda Civic?

Prior to having an after-market Viper Alarm installed on my car, I never had start issues. In the past four years that I have had the system on my 1998 Honda Civic LX, I've replaced the battery about six times and the alternator twice. When I go to start the car, particularly in colder weather, the car acts like the battery is low. It starts to turn over, radio and other electrical items function, and then just a click and nothing. When it happening tonight, twice, I got a jump (twice) and the car turned over immediately. I replaced the month-old battery and it turns over fine now. That will last about a week until I have to replace the battery again. This problem was occurring repeatedly at the beginning of November, so I put a new alternator in two weeks ago ($450). I am convinced the problem has something to do with the alarm. Please help. I don't want to shoot my car... but I will. I will.
