Hello,

I have a 30 gallon tank that I've had setup for a little over 2 weeks now. I've been doing pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate tests every day. When I started the tank I added Tetra SafeStart and had positive results in nitrates three days after. Right now I have a group of 6 neon tetras that have been in the tank since day 2 and have been doing great.

I did weekly water changes on the 7th and 14th days for about 20% of the water to remove ammonia (after 7 days the ammonia would get up to a little less than .20 and was back down to 0 the next day)

For the past week and a half my tests have looked like

pH 7.2, Ammonia 0-.20 (depending on the day), Nitrite 0 (this never changed), Nitrate 8-12.

My plan was to add a few mollies and see how they do, what does everyone think?

Thanks!
