Effected by a dark past, Nadine (french for "hope") became very cynical and dark to other people around her. She grows her bangs to cover her eyes, and refuses to wear makeup, and to dress up. However, Nadine has a beautiful twin sister name Melissa (french for "honey-bee") who attracts everybody's attention since the moment she was born.
But deep down, Nadine is very nice, and accepts the cruel things that Melissa does to her. Melissa tends to blame things on Nadine, because she knows Nadine would not fight back (because Nadine feels inferior to her own sister).
But the two girls are not only wealthy, but also popular in an elite academy that they attend. The boys tend to follow Melissa every where she goes, and the girls does nothing but suck up to Melissa and everything she says. Nadine on the other hand is popular only because she has money, and she isn't interested in the "friends" that she has. [more below...]
She chooses to sit by herself at lunch time, and chooses to ignore everything that her "friends" say. Slowly, she loses her popularity status, and now everyone thinks that she is "posessed by the devil" (which Melissa brought the idea to everyone's head).
As the twins grew up, Melissa is still the same. She's nasty, yet still very popular, while Nadine choses to have no friends, and became quiet. Jake slowly distance himself from Melissa, because of how nasty she treats Nadine (he sometimes witness times when she makes false rumor of Nadine). Jake wants to talk to Nadine, because he notices that she's different, yet her physical appearance and cold looks force him to ignore her even more.
But one day, Nadine went to a wrong place, at the wrong time, and was hit on the head by a thief that was trying to robbed a 7/11 store. Nadine was submitted to the hospital, and it turns out she doesn't even know who herself is! [more below...]
Now Nadine forgets about the dark past that haunts her, and suddenly, things seem to go a lot better when she has amnesia. Jake seem to see the real side of Melissa (he witness Melissa treating Nadine badly), and everybody at school enjoys to be around Nadine than Melissa (since Melissa is so bossy). Melissa, finally realizing for the first time, her cynical, ugly, and very odd sister is stealing the attention she always has.
Now Melissa is doing everything to ruin Nadine's life, and Nadine slowly starts to remember her past. Will her memories force Nadine to turn back into her old self?

I'm so sorry, "Jake" is a character in the story that fell for Melissa when she attended the school because of how attractive she is. I edited it out by accident.
Jake is also the character who hated Nadine because of how odd looking she is.
