is my snake eating too much?

i have a ball python, hes pretty young not much older than 9 months and just over 2 feet. he's been eating 2 live mice every 5 days, tonight the petstore was closed because of a power outtage and i had to feed him 2 large f/t mice. i can't tell if he would eat another or not, would i be power-feeding if i gave him a third? (i don't want to power feed, i just don't want my boy to be hungry lol)
