government? I'm receiving student loan for my graduate study. I have some money left over in my account which is supposed to be my refund, but my school told me that, i don't qualify for that money and they will be returning the money to the government. And i don't know why, because if i did not qualified for the money it wont be in my account. i'm an independent full time student with child and i'm not working. when i first started my graduate studies the school told me that my financial aid loan only cover the tuition and nothing else. they haven't gave me any money for computer or room and board. I've took some high interest loan to pay for my expenses. I'll finish school in about a month, the money left over is about $9000 because they haven't refund me any money since i've started. I was going to use that money to pay off the high interest loan that i've borrowed to pay for my school expenses. And they want to return that money back to the government saying that i don't qualify for it. what can i do because i believe it's my money and i'm the one who's gonna repay the loan.
how much i was supposed to receive after each quarter? thank you for helping
