Is my refusal to learn ASP.NET going to hurt me?

I feel somewhat snobbish saying this, but after a few years programming in PHP, Python, JavaScript and Java, I keep wondering if I should learn ASP.NET. With regard to Web, Microsoft makes me infuriated because nothing ever works in Internet Explorer, and if you want to make code compatible with it, it seems like it takes twice ad long.

So when I even think of learning ASP.NET instead of PHP, I just get upset. Is my attitude of Microsoft too strong? Does anybody else know what I am talking about?

Well. Not exactly. But with open source applications looming large, Microsoft products based applications getting stern competition both from Web development & windows based development.
i think your defying of learning ASP.net not going to hurt until & unless your not a 3plus experienced fella. But if you are in ur budding stages of your career better shift to ASP.net as it possess huge advantages over open source based applications like JAVA, PHP etc.
Thanks
