Is my Nokia (5230) Nuron broken?

So i have the Nokia Nuron (5230) and i have had it for about 5-6 months. I plug it in every night before i go to sleep and then turn it off and take it to school. When im leaving school i take it out and turn it on but today i turned it on and it stayed at the white screen that says Nokia. I tried everything, i put the sim card in my old phone and it works so its not the sim card. I took it to tmobile and the woman didnt even look at it and just said call customer service for a replacement. Before i do that i was wondering if anybody new what was wrong and or how to fix this problem. Thanks
