Here are the quick facts:
-46 inch tv (approx 50 lbs)
-wall plate for the mount is 24 inches
-studs are 32 inches apart because i share a wall in a duplex (BS i know)
-left side of the mount is secured on a stud, and very tight
-16 inches down wall plate, i have a lag bolt on top and bottom that is NOT in a wall stud, but is inside of plastic anchors.
Will this be enough support to keep my tv on the wall?
I have toggle bolts, but I am not very handy, and would hate to have to take off the entire wall mount and start from scratch. My tv has been on the mount for 24 hours, and seems fine. Instead of toggle bolts, can i just use about 4 more lag bolts with anchors to distribute the weight of the tv evenly?
