I've been wanting an airsoft rifle for a few months now, and I have come to the conclusion that my mother will not give me a valid reason as to why she will not agree.
I asked for the crosman pumpmaster 760
"you'll shoot your eye out"
I said I would buy protective glasses
"You'll shoot your eye out"
So I compensated, I asked for the daisy red ryder ( much less fps, and I know this )
'you'll shoot your eye out"
I explained that it would be quite a feat to shoot my own eye out while wearing eye protection with a low powered spring rifle.
"You'll shoot your eye out"
I finally decided to drop the topic and try again in a few months, while also hiding any available copies of a "christmas story" from her.
I would treat it with the respect of a real firearm, and always follow safety procedures.
This time she actually switches it up and types in "bb gun injuries" in the search engine.
I explained that most of those injuries occured because of people not following safety precautions, but unlike them I would.
"You'll shoot your eye out"
I got the same answers as before, but here is my question:
In your mind, would it be okay if I got a daisy red ryder?
Here is the REAL catch: I'm turning 16 in two months.
