Is my mom being weird or am I?

My mom got in an argument with me when she asked me if I mentioned to my friend that she worked in a building that we passed by. I said no and she got all mad and said I was weird and not normal. I got upset because I though it was such a stupid reason to say I wasn't normal. She's always saying she's so much smarter than everyone and that she does way more than most mothers do in her job(engineer). Is she right for saying I'm weird and getting mad?
I wasn't like trying to not mention where she worked. I just forgot and was talking about something else with my friend when we walked by the building.
 
i think your mom brags too much about her job then, if she gets mad because you didn't tell your friend where she worked. That's dumb. You ARE NOT abnormal sweetie.

Sounds like she's got a few issues though. This need to be seen to be, and acknowledged as, so much smarter than everyone else. Plus this whole thing about wanting people to know she works in a particular building.. Any prestige attached to that building btw?
