I just quit my job as a bus boy at Outback Steakhouse in New York. I am 17 years old and I think they violated child labor laws. I worked passed 10:00 pm every school night that I worked. I was not given a break or any time to eat what so ever, my boss even told me I am not allowed to eat, sometimes I would work 7 hour shifts. I was also required to shave and my boss threatened my tips once when I forgot to shave. There was also no staff meals if that makes any difference. Are any of these violations of child labor laws. If so what are my options, how would I make a claim, should I open a lawsuit?
