J Jordan C New member Dec 22, 2011 #1 I just bought a 1999 Honda Civic Dx a week ago. It says DOHC VTEC on the side but the engine looks like an SOHC VTEC. It hasn't been swapped. At least not that i know of but the engine is in great shape. Can anyone help me out here??
