Hello,
Months ago I had some piranahs who ended up getting some kind of disease ( am not sure) we were on vacation and came home and most of them had died (their bodies were covered in gray slime looking stuff it even overcasted their eyes)
Well the water had a bad smell so I poured bleach in it as we were syphering it out. Now, the tank has been sitting there for months now everything has dried up .
I want to clean it and hopefully be able to use the same gravel- i'll throw out the plants thats not an issue.
If i clean off the gravel with really hot water, will it be okay to place back in the tank? I didn't pour bleach directly on the gravel just in the tank it's self while it was still full of the nasty water and it's a 55 gallon tank.
