Is my dentist right about my wisdom teeth?

I have all four wisdom teeth. They haven't come up through my gums and cause me no discomfort. My previous dentist said that as long as they didn't hurt, they didn't have to be removed.

I recently changed to a new dentist because I moved. She says she wants to take all four out just in case because I don't have a lot of space in my mouth.

Is this really necessary if they are causing me no pain? My previous dentist didn't think so, so I'm not sure what to do.

Well my dentist said I might have to have my wisdom teeth pulled when they all come out. The reason for this is because I just got my braces off and the wisdom teeth might crowd over my other teeth causing them to shift and go cricked again... I don't want that to happen...been through brace's once and I don't want them again. If your wisdom teeth don't cause you pain or over crowd your teeth causing them to shift than I don't see why you need them pulled...you really don't.It's probably just their gimmick to get more money.

don't trust those dentists, they are out there to make money, just like car salesmen. As long as you have benefits, they will try to drain them completely. I would say seek another opinion.
