Is my college GPA okay if I do not want to pursue higher-education? Will these

achievements make up for it? Hi,

I am majoring in Business and double-minoring in Economics and Japanese (because I think they are interesting). I have never been the best at school, but worked very hard so far. I am in my third year and have a 3.3. I work and go to school, and have been through a lot of stuff (in the past year, I was attacked/hospitalized by a stranger for no reason, had to find a new home for my pet pigeon who I saved off the street, had to move and work extra hours/take out more loans, deal with the police a lot, became depressed. I also got very sick, had two ear infections and a bacterial stomach infection, and am just now overcoming an allergic reaction to either my antibiotics or aluminum...which I was again hospitalized for).

I was an officer for a business club, and have been an active member in a few other business (and fun) clubs. I studied abroad in high school (in Chile), and am hopefully studying abroad again in Japan all next year (If I get accepted which is a 99% chance...it is supposedly the 3rd best college in Japan). Then I plan on studying abroad in Hong Kong and one other country afterward, if possible.

My goal is to make money not through working 9-5 jobs (I have a few different plans), and I have no intentions of pursuing higher education. I feel like I am struggling this semester, however, from all the past stress and my constant bad-health this semester. :(

I keep worrying about my GPA...I think because I was raised by a workaholic mom...Do you think my gpa will really matter? I will make sure to keep it at a 3.0 or above, but am very stressed out and worried over it.

Do my other achievements make-up for my gpa not being the best? :( I just recently got back from the hospital and the drugs I have to take make me tired...but I have a midterm tomorrow to study for.

Please help! I live in the Silicon Valley...most of my friends are in business or engineering so I have some connections ^.^ Thank you!!!

ps: I hope to graduate fluent in four languages...if that would matter. I am also a classical/jazz guitarist, and play very difficult pieces...Sorry this is in such a strange section, but i really need advice. >.<
