I just bought a used 2002 chevy impala. The miles on the car are 158,000. I've had the car for about a month now. When accelerating out of u turns my car jerks real hard , like its hsifting to hard or the tires are getting too much traction. My bro said it feels like the tranny is slipping. And sometimes accelerating from a dead stop the car while kinda slow down for a second, jerk and then ride out smooth? What's going on here? The car ride and shifts pretty smooth other than that. What can I do to fix? The car is an automatic, and the dealer covers 50perecnt of transmission problems through warrarnty. I hope this doesn't break my pokets =/ . I appreciate all of u help thanks.
