It's been raining in LA for at least a week now, nonstop. I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and on Monday my driver's side window wouldn't go up after I had put it down. I ended up breaking the window (unintentionally) trying to pry it out. Got it fixed following morning. But was driving around, at least that night, with rain pouring into my car. Flash forward to today I park my car and try to start and it doesn't respond. No sound, no engine noise, nothing. Just, dead. I try and get a jump and nothing happens. One light came on (above driver's seat) for a second and went off. It made no noise whats over. The man who's car I used for the jump said it could be the starter.
Maybe so? I thought back and earlier today as I was leaving from work it acted funny when I was starting the car; like it struggled a little to start. It did that twice before last week, but not as noticeable. So, what do I do now? Obviously mechanic, but what is going on? And why is the electricity gone throughout the entire car?
Any recommendations in the Los Angeles area? Central, Westside, etc..
Any suggestions and comments appreciated...
