I've had my betta fish for about a year, and he had his own bowl during that time. Last week, I bought a 10-gallon tank and a filter, and I guess I didn't let the filter clean out the water for long enough before I put him in. He's really pale now, and he's either really lethargic or really spastic and running into things. Is it okay to put him back in his old bowl for a while until the filter is done cleaning out the tank water? How long should I wait for the filter to clean the water completely?
