Is my Betta Fish Dying?

My betta fish has been listless over the past few days... today he was spitting up food. I just cleaned out his tank, and he keeps trying to swim to the bottom, but floats back to the top. He seems to have difficulty swimming, and I can't be sure, but I think his coloring has faded a little.

I'm so sorry about your Betta! I've had several do this and die. But not for like a few months. Normally they will lay on plants and gravel when they're in their "few months left" phase. I don't know, but he could be having something else going on with him. Hope he ends up ok!

try taking it 2 a pet store like petco er something.

If its at the top, it might be because it needs oxygen. Have a filter running and create some surface tension and and air pump will help too.

oh poor fish i have one. he lays at the bottom of the tank all the time. Like now.mine spits food if hes not hungry, maybe change his food?
