Is my being horrible at math a sign of lesser intelligence?

OverlyArtistic

I have always had trouble with math ever since I was in elementary school, and now that I am in high school these problems continue. I make A's in every other class, even my honors classes, but when it comes to Algebra 2 I am lucky to even be given higher than a C. And as of today I currently have a D.

I have researched this before but I remain curious. Is my IQ simply lower than others? Am I just not as intelligent? Why is it that my peers can do math so easily, but I remain the ugly duckling struggling to get anywhere? I feel as if this subject is literally going to ruin my life. Math is an extremely important field, especially to colleges.

I became even more upset once I learned that math has much to do with logic. Logical thinking is another quality of mine that I want to be amazing. But since I am horrible at math, I can only assume that my ability to think logically is horrible.
