I was just informed by a car audio shop owner that my Alpine cde-100 was no alpine at all ! It's a freakin Panasonic. He said Alpine allowed this to happen so shops could advertise having a Alpine head unit for way under $100.00 Bucks. WTF!!! It was strange that alpine-usa.com listed add-ons like the ktp-445 crossover for all H/U's EXCEPT the cde-100. What a load of CRAP! I thought I had a quality Alpine. Does anyone else know anything about this? and should I take it back to where I bought it? I thought I was getting an Alpine.
Is my ALPINE really a PANASONIC?.. CRAP!!?
