Is my 92' chevy 350 sport pickup worth restoring?

I bought this 92 chevy truck for $4000 last fall from my friend's dad. He bought it new and babied it. It has 80,000 original miles, never been drove in the winter or on dirt roads. Looks brand new underneath. The engine is super clean with a cold air intake as the only modification. He has kept everything stock. Although the truck is in amazing condition, the paint is dull and chipping around the back window. My dad runs a body shop so I was planning on repainting it soon. I have been searching around to see if there are any others like it and I'm having a hard time finding anything out about it, only get info on the 454 ss. From what I've been told chevy only made the 350 sport and 454ss edition for a couple yrs so they are kind of rare. Just looking for some insight on the vehicle. Thinking about putting a 454 in it but not sure. Wondering if my $4000 was well spent
