Is my 1992 honda accord engine going out?

I have to be putting new oil in it every few weeks because it runs out.
It makes a rattling noise when I step on the gas and it becomes louder as the engine get hotter.
The car also accelerates slower when the car in on for about 30 minutes and the noise gets louder, how ever, the temperature of the car never passes the half way mark of the meter.
When the engine is cold and I put new oil in it, the noise can still be heard but the car runs almost perfectly.
