Is morning showering really important?

Hey, I'm past puberty but occasionally get an annoying pimple or two. I'm a night shower-er, as I'm part British so showering usually leaves my face red for a good half-hour. So because of it I tend to leave my face alone in the mornings.

To help prevent these breakouts, should I get into the routine of showering or washing my face in the mornings and just allocate time for my face to turn 'back to normal'? Is it really beneficial to wash in the morning?

Thanks.

..who doesn't wash their faces when they wake up?

overnight, the new skin regenerates, thus the oily dead skin are left on your face
so your face is among the dirtiest upon waking up

lol... what does being part British have to do with anything? I'm whole British and I do not find showering makes me red for half an hour...:)
