Im in a position where I can't find people to play metal... which is the only thing im interested in playing. I am good at drums, decent at guitar but not good enough to do solos or anything, and ive never tried singing. I keep getting asked to play crap like The Black Keys, All Time Low, Protest The Hero and I can't handle it that kind of music is awful to me. I always end up changing my mind when I get offered to join a band because all they wanna do is play whats popular on the radio. Is making a solo album better then nothing at all when all else fails?
