Is majoring in marine biology and then majoring or minoring in psychology ridiculous?

Currently I'm torn between two areas of study, Marine Biology and Psychology and I'm not willing to give up one or the other. I know that they are two completely different things, but I guess I'm just wondering how I should go about pursuing my marine biology and psychology aspirations. i read here and there on the internet that i shouldn't JUST major in marine science, but also in others like sociology or biology or economics. I was just curious if, by experience or personal opinions, that it would be a big load or a ridiculous waste if I were to major in both marine biology and psychology or make one a minor.
