Is Lexus Rx330 FWD effective in snow road?

i want to buy this car for driving in a city, but i also want it for snow weather ... can FWD handle it with no problems?

is there a big difference between FWD and AWD ( RX 330)
 
AWD does make huge differences in snow chains. FWD would do its job to get through.

I would just get part time awd on rx330 if there is part time available.
