Is law school for me.?

I am currently decding on my future plans after undergrad and I was considering law school. My main goal is to teach at the college level, but my main concern is whether a J.D can assist me in any considering that I do not want to pursue a legal career. I would like get my Phd in international affairs, but I was thinking that maybe a J.D. specified in international law would be a great asset for me in my future teaching career. The only way I would consider practicing law is probably if I worked for the U.N or some international organization.
