Ok, for a present, I painted ceramic tiles to use as coasters and a trivet. I used acrylic paint and then covered it with liquid glue mixed with some water to seal it off.
I just realized that the glue will melt when something warm like a dish or pot is put on it so I got some mod podge thinking it would solve the problem...guess what? Mod Podge melts according to their spokesperson. So I have Krylon Crystal Clear acrylic spray handy and wanted to know...if I were to spray it on top of the dried glue, will it make the painted tile heat resistant?
