My Uncle is a Soldier and he kind of asked me if I want to join the Army. I told him i will think about it. My family is facing poverty now and my parents are like 50 years old and unemployed because of the economy. I really want to help my parents out and I really have to find the way to help them but everywhere I look for job, they wouldn't hire me. So I was thinking maybe it's time for me to join the military because there are lots of benefits. But I still don't have much informations about serving the Army. I mean I'm going to talk to people in the army next friday but from what they tell me and what people who have experiences of serving a military sounds just way too different. Some people told me lots of people die even at the Boot Camp. I would do anything to help my parents out but I just don't want to risk myself. Just for the information, I'm 20 and live in Los Angeles, CA. Thank you guys for you help. I really appreciate it
