I am writing an Argumentative essay on the Controversy Associated with Anime for my college composition class.
To support my claims, it would really help to be able to have a statistic/poll taken on the percentage of Americans that think Anime is either bad or good for their children or whomever to watch.
A simple yes or no is perfect-- I'm not asking for any explanations, unless you feel the need to.
Oh, and when I ask if you think Anime is bad, I don't mean if you think it's stupid or lame... I'm asking if you think it's bad for society or children due to it being too violent or sexual, or if you think there's subliminal messaging or brain-washing qualities in Anime.
My paper is about the controversy, not about how awesome or lame it is. :]
