I'm a 21 year old college student and have been dating my boyfriend for 5 months now. We're both the same age but he's a lot more experienced sexually, in fact I'm still a virgin. When we do talk about it he doesn't mind that I don't want to rush into it and he's happy with whatever I'm happy with. But deep down inside I feel a little bit bad that I don't want to have sex yet, that I want to wait until our relationship lasts a bit longer. Which brings me to complete strangers, as you don't know either one of us and can give an unbiased opinion, do you think I'm holding out too much or is it not that big of a deal that I want to wait a bit longer for our relationship to become more substantial until I give up my virginity? If you think I should wait it out, when do you think is an appropriate time to give it up in the relationship (can be based on time, feelings, etc.)?
Is it wrong to hold out having sex with him at my age?
