I graduated with a 2:2 History BA. I would like to be a History teacher. Is it worth it with my grade? I hear that there are plenty of History teachers but not enough jobs, so would I even stand a chance of getting onto a PGCE course and securing a job after I graduate?
Has anyone with a 2:2 ever gone on to securing a successful career in teaching? I was averaging a 2:1 before i messed up my final two modules. Would an MA improve my chances of getting onto a teaching post and securing a job after?
