...History? I am 17 and I love learning and History. I want to teach high school History. I want to go to either Moravian College or West Chester Univercity. There programs of studies only say Bachlor of History there is no secondary education program for either of them. Or at least I didn't see them. How do I go about making sure I can get a secondary teaching certificate?
Also, I am worried about becoming a teacher because I hear they force you to pay union dues and be a part of a union. I understand why they have unions that's great BUT... What I disagree with is the fact that teachers will and can go on strike leaving their students without an education. I believe thats wrong I thought you have to have a passion for teaching not money. I know how much they make and I'd never want to throw my students out over money! Every teacher I ask doesn't care they find it funny I find it sick and wrong!
