Is it worth it to fix a 2001 Toyota Prius?

My dad is giving me his 2001 Toyota Prius with 190,000 miles on it. The catch is it needs a new catalytic converter and O2 valve(?) estimated at $2300-$2500.

At 10 years old, does it have enough life left in it for these repairs to be worth it?
