...following work fields? Is it worth it for me to go back to college at the age of 33 to try to get into either the accounting or financial field? Would it be worth it to me also to try to get into and intership in either the accounting or financial field? I am too old to get into a internship program?

Absolutely, there is not rule that says you cannot be in college past 22.
