Is it worth it... 94 Honda Accord?

So I just purchased a 1994 Honda Accord EX 4 door from a friend at work. I gave him $2k for it. It has 145K miles on it. He is the original owner. There is an oil leak, the windshield is cracked, the a/c does not work and the door actuator makes a loud noise when locking/unlocking the car. Other then that, the exterior and interior is in really good shape. The paint is fading a little on the top of the car, but everything else works good. I'm wondering if it's worth putting some $$ in it to get it in good condition. I'm hoping to fix the oil leak (slow leak) a tune up, windshield, a/c I think it's the condenser and door actuator for less then $2500.00 I have a honda ridgeline that I drive daily so I don't need it done tomorrow. But I just love the look of the 5th gen honda accords and thought it was a good deal. Either way if it's not worth it I can sell it for what I bought it no problem. Let me know what you guys and gals think. Thanks for your input.
The transmission was just replaced at 98K miles, he did have proof of that. I thought about an engine swap, but a friend of mine said those 2.2L engines can go 300k w/ reg. maint. he works for a Toyota dealership but he was the one who kind of convinced me... I can't stress how clean the body and interior are. Thanks for the input : )
 
not really worth the money. the problems that you have right now could get fixed for under a thousand but, when will the problems stop? The car has 145K on its chassis and motor, and will only throw more problems your way in the immediate 35K. Hondas are world renowned for being reliable but that's only if the previous owner took care of the car to begin with. I had an 87 Honda CRX that had 345,000 miles on it and the poor lil car kept on going with maintenance and new parts. Parts can be inexpensive on Hondas as long as they are easy to find and not too old of a model (yours isn't that old) But all in all, no car is a good investment, they are all money pits in one way or another,and paying for any kind of labor sucks(90 bucks an hour), i would sell the accord and keep that money in my savings for something better up the road ($2,000 wasn't a great deal to begin with)
 
hmmm well i would've paid $1500 no more but if you want the car because of the type and you're willing to blow that money go for it but you may want to just outright swap the engine and maybe the tranny
